What Is A Home Inspection?

A home inspection is an objective visual examination of the physical and systems in a home, from the foundation to the roof. The standard Home Inspector’s report is not intended to be an engineering report or to be technically exhausting. The main purpose is to identify major deficiencies or items which, in the opinion of the Inspector, you need to be aware of for health and safety reasons and to enable you to make informed decisions. The standard inspection report includes a review of the condition of the home’s heating system, central air conditioning system, interior plumbing and electrical systems, roof, attic, visible insulation, ceilings, floors, windows, doors, the foundation, basement and overall visible structure. B&A conducts inspections in accordance with Arizona Standards of Professional Practice.Type your paragraph here.

Buying A Home?

A professional home inspection is paramount when considering purchasing a home. Being made aware of any deficiencies, needed repairs and/or potential hazards will allow you to make an informed decision and/or to negotiate the price of the home more effectively and realistically. No one wants to buy what appeared to be the home of their dreams only to find out after the deal has closed that there are problems that could have been brought to light through an inspection prior to the purchase.

Selling Your Home?

For those intending to sell their home, a professional home inspection can be extremely helpful. The inspection report provide the sellers with a good idea of what item’s the buyer’s inspection will reveal, giving you the opportunity to make any necessary repairs ahead of time helping to ensure you receive the best possible price for your home. Further, if you choose not to make any repairs, you can provide the buyer with the Inspection Report and sell “as is”. Either way, a home inspection will save you time and help avoid any unnecessary delays in the sale of your property.

Staying In Your Home?

A professional Maintenance inspection is a great way to help ensure your existing home is in sound condition and/or to identify any concerns that may need to be addressed. This type of proactive caring for your home can provide you and your family with peace of mind. And, should the inspection reveal that repairs are needed, B&A would be happy to refer you to reliable, licensed professionals to assist you.Type your paragraph here.
